Arrival
Baden bei Wien is located 26 km south of Vienna and 33 km from Vienna-Schwechat International Airport, just 160 km from Graz and 180 km from Linz.
Bühne Baden with its two venues Stadttheater and Sommerarena is centrally located in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian zone, Casino Baden and the Kurpark.
Parking at the Sommerarena
Parking directly at the Sommerarena (Arenastraße) is not permitted. Persons with disabilities are permitted to enter and exit the Sommerarena, but parking is not permitted even with a disabled pass.
The public transport connections to Baden are excellent - take advantage of them and enjoy a relaxed journey without having to search for a parking space!
With a subscription to Bühne Baden, you even have free BEFORE travel to your subscription performances (subscription card as a free ticket).
ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
FOOTWAY FROM THE TRAIN STATION
The Stadttheater is approx. 15 minutes' walk from Baden train station.
DIRECTIONS:
- Cross the station forecourt and follow Bahnhofsallee.
- At the first opportunity, turn right into Hildegardgasse, which becomes Annagasse after a few hundred meters, and follow this street.
- At the end of Annagasse, turn left onto Pfarrplatz and follow Pfarrgasse to the Stadttheater.
- Pass the Stadttheater on the left to reach the Kurpark, which you enter at the main entrance.
- Past the pavilion on the left is the Sommerarena, directly behind the Casino Baden.

Free VOR-trip with the Bühne Baden subscription
With the subscription, you can travel to and from the subscription performance free of charge on all VOR bus and train lines on the following routes: Vienna core zone border to Baden or Wiener Neustadt to Baden or Baden city transport.
2 hours before to 5 hours after the start of the performance. For example with REX, Wiesel, Schnellbahn, Badner Bahn as well as the VOR bus lines from e.g. Wr. Neudorf or Mödling or Felixdorf or Kottingbrunn or Bad Vöslau or Wr. Neustadt to Baden free of charge there & back, plus on Baden city transport free of charge there & back.
Arrival by car
Coming from the A2, take the Baden exit (towards the center) and follow the signs for the red hotel route (Route 2).Stadttheater and Sommerarena are located directly on this route in the center. Please note the short-term parking zones in Baden. Visitors can park in one of the parking garages (for a fee).
