It gives me great pleasure to present my first season as the new artistic director of Bühne Baden. As early as 2022, during my production of SUNSET BOULEVARD, I realized how much I care about this theater and the people - in front of, on and behind the stage. The dedication of the entire team to providing you with unforgettable musical theater evenings made a deep impression on me even then. So the preparations for this season quickly felt like arriving at an artistic home.

My aim is to tell exciting and inspiring stories with entertaining musical theater, to inspire and enchant you. Bühne Baden, with its venues steeped in tradition - the Stadttheater, the Sommerarena and the Max Reinhardt Foyer - is an institution far beyond the borders of Lower Austria. It is unique in its focus on musicals and operettas - a unique selling point among Austria's municipal and regional theaters. We will continue this tradition with great passion: Baden will remain an operetta metropolis, and at the same time we want to bring a touch of Broadway to Baden with classic and contemporary musicals.

As a musical hotspot, we will also be presenting exclusive German-language and Austrian premieres at the cutting edge in future. I am also particularly keen to promote young talent: With our newly founded young ensemble, the YOUNG ARTISTS, we are giving promising up-and-coming artists a stage. We are also strengthening our profile as an innovative creative forge with world premieres of musicals and operettas. Preparations for this are already in full swing.

I see it as one of my most important tasks to continue to inspire our current regular audience, but also to attract young audiences to entertaining musical theater - for musicals as well as for operetta.
