Alexandra Frankl

Alexandra Frankl was born in Lilienfeld, Lower Austria. She completed her training in acting, dance and singing in Vienna. She has appeared in films and television programmes such as EX, Eine romantische Komödie (EX, a romantic comedy), Novotny und Maroudi, Die Lottosieger (The Lottery Winners) and Kommissar Rex. She has also performed in theatre and musical productions including Das perfekte Desaster Dinner (The Perfect Disaster Dinner) at the Stadttheater Berndorf and Stadthalle in Vienna, Der Graf von Luxemburg (The Count of Luxembourg) at the Theater an der Wien, Fame, The Rocky Horror Show at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Cabaret in Vienna and Düsseldorf, Gigi at the Volksoper in Vienna and Joseph at the Musical Sommer Amstetten and Raimundtheater in Vienna.

From 2005 to 2019, she was a member of the ensemble at the Kabarett Simpl in Vienna.
Since 2022, she has regularly worked alongside director Alex Balga, serving as an artistic consultant on Jersey Boys (2023) and We Will Rock You (2024), and appearing as an actress in Grease (2022) and the world premiere of Augustin – the Musical (2025) at Musical Sommer Amstetten.
