Daniel Costello

Born in Colorado, USA, Danny Costello has worked as a performer and one of the most sought-after choreographers in Germany for many years. His first engagements took him on a Broadway tour of Europe. He then appeared at the Theater des Westens, the Theater an der Wien in Chicago, and in Street Scene in Berlin, Lisbon, and Turin, to name a few. As a choreographer, he has worked on productions such as Rhythmus Berlin, Glanzlichter (Friedrichstadtpalast), Funny Girl (in Dortmund, Nuremberg, Chemnitz, Graz and Bad Hersfeld), Big Fish (in Munich and Gelsenkirchen), Rebecca (in Tecklenburg), Fast Normal (in Dortmund) and The Pajama Game (at Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen).
In Magdeburg, he choreographed Sunset Boulevard, The Rocky Horror Show and Catch Me If You Can. He has collaborated with director Felix Seiler on several productions, including Kiss Me, Kate (Coburg), Anatevka (Duisburg) and Chicago (Hanover). For DomplatzOpenAir 2025, he will once again be responsible for the choreography of The Addams Family.
