Biography
Lukas Perman
received his training at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He made his debut in the musical Elisabeth at the Theater an der Wien in 2003, while still a student. In 2005, he played the title role in the German-language premiere of ROMEO & JULIA at the Raimundtheater. Since then, he has played leading roles at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (including Elisabeth, Tanz der Vampire, I Am from Austria), the Vienna Volksoper, the Bühne Baden, the Salzburger Landestheater, the Seefestspiele Mörbisch and in numerous Japanese productions.
In addition to numerous CD releases, Lukas is active as a presenter at concerts, galas and events, as well as on TV (including ORF's Licht ins Dunkel and Wir spielen für Österreich).
In 2013, he was a finalist on the ORF show Dancing Stars.
Since 2010, he has produced and organised concerts and musical theatre productions with his company, Perman Productions & Consulting GmbH, at venues including the Raimundtheater, the Ronacher and the Stadthalle in Vienna. He also works as a consultant for artists, as well as in the fields of presentation and personal development for executives.
In 2011, he received the TARA 'Life Goes On Award' in recognition of his artistic work and social commitment to various national and international aid organisations. In 2019, he was awarded the 'Golden Medal of Honour of the Republic of Austria'.
