Masanari Sasaki
Biography
Masanari Sasaki is a Japanese lyric tenor. After studying singing in Kyoto, he refined his vocal training in Vienna as a member of the Vienna State Opera Choir Academy. His roles to date include Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Alfred in Die Fledermaus, Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor and Kanichi in Der goldene Dämon, as well as numerous other parts. He has performed in Japan and on numerous stages across Europe, including the Graz Opera, Theater an der Wien, and various festivals. He has also showcased his talent at several international singing competitions. He has also performed with the ORF Orchestra, the Tonkünstler Orchestra and other ensembles. Alongside his work on the opera stage, he has extensive experience in the oratorio and lieder repertoire.
