Pia Douwes
Biography
Following her award-winning portrayal of Elisabeth in Vienna, the Netherlands and Germany, as well as in open-air concerts including those at Schönbrunn Palace, Pia became the most sought-after leading lady on the European musical scene.
She also originated the roles of Milady de Winter in The Three Musketeers, Claire Zachanassian in The Visit and Helena in A Little Colour.
She has also appeared on Broadway and in London's West End, playing Velma Kelly in Chicago.

She has received the Lifetime Achievement Award in both the Netherlands and Germany, as well as the Golden Medal of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria.
