Biography

Thomas Enzinger is one of the most established directors in musical theatre entertainment.  While his work primarily focuses on the operetta genre, he also stages operas, musicals and plays. He has worked at internationally renowned venues such as the Vienna Volksoper, Landestheater Linz, Gärtnerplatztheater Munich, Staatstheater Dortmund, Braunschweig, Wiesbaden, Kiel Opera, Metropol Vienna, Theater Salzburg and Innsbruck, among others.  
Since 2017, he has also served as the artistic and managing director of the Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl. His productions have won numerous awards, including the Austrian Music Theatre Prize, the Bavarian Radio Prize for the best and most innovative operetta production of the year, the State Prize for the best economic film, and the renowned Bavarian Radio Operetta Prize Frosch several times.
