A great honour for Bühne Baden: Roald Dahl’s MATILDA – The Musical has been nominated for the German Musical Theater Award 2026 in the category "Best German-Language Premiere".

With the German-language premiere of the international hit musical, Bühne Baden presented a production that delighted audiences and critics alike. The story of the exceptionally clever Matilda, who finds her own path through courage, imagination and determination, played to sold-out houses and captivated theatre-goers of all ages.

Now it's time to keep our fingers crossed: The German Musical Theater Award 2026 ceremony will take place on 16 November 2026 at 8:00 p.m. in Berlin.
