Biography

Die australisch-deutsche Mezzosopranistin, in Melbourne geboren, hat Operngesang, Musikpädagogik und Musikwissenschaft in Melbourne und Wien studiert.
Emilys erste Musik- und Tanzausbildung begann bereits im Alter von 4 Jahren. Ab dem Alter von 10 Jahren sang sie in einem Kinderchor, mit dem sie viele Auftritte sowohl in Australien als auch international hatte.
Auf der Bühne zu sehen war sie im Rahmen zahlreicher Aufführungen unter anderem bei: JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, INTO THE WOODS, SWEENEY TODD, DIDO UND AENEAS, DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, L’ELISIR D‘AMORE, PROSERPINA, PALLAS ATHENE WEINT (Neue Oper Wien), LA FORZA DEL DESTINO, und LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN (Oper Klosterneuburg).
Emily Nathan lebt seit 2013 in Österreich und ist seit Mai 2022 Mitglied des Chores der Bühne Baden.
