Erin Marks
Biography
American mezzo-soprano Erin Marks was born and raised in the New York City area. She graduated with honours from Saint Mary's College in Indiana, USA, earning a Bachelor's degree in Music alongside a minor in German from the University of Notre Dame.
She made her opera debut in 2018 in Bruck an der Leitha, performing the role of Cherubino. As a trained crossover singer, she has participated in musical recordings in Vienna. She has performed with various ensembles in the USA and Austria, touring worldwide from her home country to China.
Her favourite recent engagements include the Austrian premiere of Florence Price's works at the Burg Bernstein song recital, and performing the midnight interlude solo at the Austrian Space Forum Ball (SPACE BALL).
She has been a member of the ensemble at the Bühne Baden since October 2021, most recently appearing as Vera/Maude in Funny Girl.
