Biography

Die amerikanische Mezzosopranistin Erin Marks ist in der Umgebung von New York City geboren und aufgewachsen. Sie hat ihren Bachelor in Musik am Saint Marys College, Indiana (USA), mit Nebenfach Deutsch an der University of Notre Dame, mit ausgezeichnetem Erfolg abgeschlossen.
Ihr Operndebüt hatte sie 2018 in Bruck an der Leitha in der Rolle des Cherubino. Als ausgebildete Crossover Sängerin hat sie auch bei Musicalaufnahmen in Wien mitgewirkt. Sie hat in verschiedenen Ensembles in den USA und Österreich mitgesungen und hat weltweit an Tourneen teilgenommen, von ihrem Heimatland bis nach China.
Zu ihren Lieblingsengagements in letzter Zeit zählen die österreichische Premiere der Werke von Florence Price beim Liederabend der Burg Bernstein und die Solo-Aufführung der Mitternachtseinlage beim Ball des Österreichischen Weltraum Forum (SPACE BALL). 
Seit Oktober 2021 ist sie an der Bühne Baden engagiert und war zuletzt in den Rollen der Vera/Maude in FUNNY GIRL zu sehen.
