Actor, author, director, translator, lighting and projection designer, but most recently mainly set designer (preferably for musical theatre). At the Vienna Volksoper (extremely successful with the) sets for ‘Guys and Dolls’, ‘Hello Dolly’, ‘Frau Luna’ & ‘Roxy und ihr Wunderteam’. He won the Austrian Music Theatre Award for ‘Axel an der Himmelstür’. At the Theater der Jugend: ‘Karlsson vom Dach’, ‘Emil und die Detektive’, ‘Kalle Blomquist lebt gefährlich’, ‘Cinderella passt was nicht’ & ‘Honk!’. He is a frequent guest at the Baden Theatre, including in ‘Die Bajadere’, ‘Eine Nacht in Venedig’, ‘Die schöne Wassilissa’, ‘Sweet Charity’, ‘Zwei Herzen im Dreivierteltakt’, “Annie”, ‘Land des Lächelns’ and ‘Victor/Victoria’. ‘Rose of Stambul’ and next season with ‘The Addams Family’. Great successes in Amstetten with ‘Hair’, ‘Rock Of Ages’ (currently on tour in Germany), ‘The Rocky Horror Show’, ‘On Your Feet’ & “Grease”, and in summer 2026 ‘The Band’. For the VBW ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. At the Salzburg State Theatre and Munich, ‘Der Schuh des Manitu’. His fantasy stage design for the musical ‘Die 13 1/2 Leben des Käpt'n Blaubär’ (premiered in Cologne in 2006) toured Germany in 2008/09. After its premiere in Düsseldorf, his stage design for ‘Shrek’ toured Switzerland and Vienna, and was subsequently taken on for a world tour. 

His stages for ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Footloose’, “Ghost” and ‘Dracula’ are currently touring Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Further productions in Austria include the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Stadthalle Vienna, Musicalfestival Graz, Kammerspiele Vienna, Stadttheater Mödling/Scala Vienna, as well as Theatersommer Haag, Wachaufestspiele Weißenkirchen and many more. In Germany, he recently gained international attention for ‘Die Reise zum Mond’ (Frosch Operetta Prize), Parade and, this season, the continental premiere of The Shining (opera) at the Staatstheater Regensburg, Komödie am Ku'damm Berlin, Schmidt-Theater Hamburg, Prinzregententheater Munich, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Staatsoperette Dresden, Stadttheater Chemnitz and many more.
Exhibition designer at the Austrian Theatre Museum for ‘Welt der Operette’ (World of Operetta) (2012) and ‘Austropop’ (2022). Director: ‘Lucky Stiff’ in Klagenfurt and Vienna, “Coccinella” at the Dschungel Wien, ‘Sie Spielen unser Lied’ (You Play Our Song) in Vienna, ‘Equus’ in Mödling/Vienna, ‘Schmetterlinge sind frei’ & ‘Honig im Kopf’, Neue Bühne Vienna/tour, ‘Shakespeare im Blut’ at the Schubert Theatre, ‘Es beginnt immer heute’, ‘Frau Müller muss weg’ & ‘Willkommen / أهلاً و سهلاً’ at the Freie Bühne Wieden, ‘Revanche’, ‘Die Frau in Schwarz’ (The Woman in Black), ‘Fettes Schwein’ (Fat Pig), “Volpone” and ‘Hexenjagd’ (The Crucible) in Mödling/Vienna.
