Boris Pfeifer
Biography
The Vienna-born actor and singer completed his training at the Vienna Conservatory. He then undertook musical engagements at home and abroad, including playing the role of Che in Evita (Baden), Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Graz/Klagenfurt Opera) and Mackie Messer in Die Dreigroschenoper (Klagenfurt City Theatre). At VBW Vienna, he appeared as Utterson in Jekyll & Hyde (Theater an der Wien), as the Prince in Romeo & Julia (Raimund Theatre) and as Sam in Mamma Mia! His other roles include appearances in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Graz Opera), ANYTHING GOES (Graz, Munich and St Gallen Opera) and HELLO DOLLY! (Bad Ischl).
He then performed in operettas such as Leopold in IM WEISSEN RÖSSL (Bad Ischl), Count Boni in DIE CSÁRDÁSFÜRSTIN (Renaissance Theatre), and Louis Philipp in DIE BAJADERE (Baden). During this period, he also made guest appearances at the Vienna Kammerspiele, performing as Jerry in Sugar – Manche mögen's heiß and as Vincent di Ruzzio in Lucky Stiff. He regularly performs at the Vienna Volksoper in productions such as DER VETTER AUS DINGSDA, MADAME POMPADOUR, DIE SPINNEN, DIE ROMER!, VIVALDI and DER MANN VON LA MANCHA. From autumn 2022, he will appear as Jack Favell in Rebecca at the Raimund Theatre.
